Blackcurrant-flavoured effervescent tablets with iron and Vitamin C. Iron contributes to normal red blood cell and haemoglobin formation, while Vitamin C increases iron absorption.

Ingredients

Acid: citric acid; acidity regulator: sodium bicarbonate; bulking agent: sorbitol; flavourings, corn starch, beetroot powder, L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), sweeteners: sodium cyclamate and sodium saccharin; ferrous lactate, colour: riboflavin.

Directions

Dissolve 1 effervescent tablet daily in a glass of water (200 ml). For increased iron requirements, 2 tablets may be taken spread throughout the day.
