Ricola is a Swiss herbal-drop brand founded in 1930, known for its signature blend of Swiss Alpine herbs. The German-market Honig Alpen Salbei variety combines fair-trade honey, sage oil and sage extract with Ricola's 13-herb Alpine blend and added Vitamin C.

Ingredients

Sugar, glucose syrup, honey (6.2%), herbal extracts (0.7%) from sage, ribwort plantain, marshmallow, peppermint, thyme, sage, lady's mantle, yarrow, burnet, mallow, elderflower, cowslip, speedwell and horehound; Vitamin C, natural flavour, acidifiers: malic acid and citric acid; sage oil, menthol.

Warnings

Contains honey and is therefore not vegan. Each lozenge contains 1.4 mg sage oil. Ricola recommends at least 1 lozenge per day when used as a Vitamin C source.
